The role

Search brings in traffic that keeps paying off long after a page goes live, so we want someone to own SEO for us properly. That covers two sides: the technical work that gets our pages crawled and indexed without issues, and the writing that actually ranks and reads well. You'll work with our content, design, and dev people to plan what we publish and fix what's holding rankings back.

What you'll do

• Handle on-page, technical, and content SEO across our sites and articles

• Run technical audits and fix crawl and indexing issues, page speed, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and internal links

• Do keyword research and match our pages to what people are actually searching for

• Write and optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, and the briefs our writers work from

• Improve existing articles so they rank better and get more clicks

• Keep an SEO and content calendar based on real search demand

• Report on rankings, organic traffic, and conversions, and flag what's working and what isn't

• Work with developers on site structure and any migrations

• Keep up with algorithm changes, SERP features, and how AI search affects our traffic

What we're looking for

• 2+ years in SEO, with real experience in both technical SEO and SEO writing

• Solid technical SEO: crawling, indexing, schema, Core Web Vitals, and site structure

• Strong SEO writing in clear, natural English

• Comfortable with Google Search Console, GA4, and one of Ahrefs, Semrush, or Screaming Frog

• Able to read the data and decide what to do next

• You treat on-page, off-page, and content SEO as one job, not three separate ones

• Able to work on your own in a fully remote setup

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• Large-scale or programmatic SEO

• SEO on Framer, Webflow, or a headless CMS

• Link building or digital PR

• Working with AI tools for content, and optimizing for AI search
